Today was the 3rd Saturday in a row of birthday parties. Cade definitely knows the routine now, and is ALWAYS the first kid to sit down and the last kid to leave the cake and ice cream table. He LOVES it. It is really cute to here him say “Happy Birthday” to all his friends.
Today’s birthday party at Emma’s house. They had kiddie pools and art stations set up. There was even beer there for the grown-ups (that’s what I call a good birthday party). Unfortunately, in the middle of today’s party, I noticed Cade was shivering. I felt his forehead and he seemed a little warm. Polly let me borrow a thermometer and he had a little fever so we left early. I felt horrible for possibly infecting everybody else’s kids. Hopefully, we didn’t spread too many germs while we were there. In the pictures I took, you can see his eyes are dark and watery. Poor guy.
