I LOVE springtime and I love Easter.  I love getting the kids all dressed up and letting them hunt eggs. It must be all the great childhood memories.  My Gamma used to do a big hunt every year for all of us grandkids and the “golden egg” was filled with lots of money. It was always great fun.

This year we went to a hunt at a friend’s house.  She put it on for all of the kids of the women’s church group at St. Joe’s.  Last year, Cade would find an egg and immediately open it up to see what was inside of it.  This year, he was much more interested in getting the most eggs.  It is so interesting to see his mentality change as he gets older.

Coley enjoys his easter eggs, too!

Easter morning we were at our house, and the “tricky Easter bunny” (as Cade calls him) hid eggs all over the backyard.  It took Cade all of about 10 minutes to find them all.  We went to an awesome breakfast at Mama’s Boy after the hunt, then went to check out all of the fountains on North Campus.  We ended with the big fountain at Herty field and the ringing of the Chapel Bell.
