While working out at the Y today, I walked past the child watch area and saw the boys playing together. Cade was sitting next to Cole and watching him play with a little basketball and gently teaching him how to put the ball in the basket. The sight made my heart smile. I know they are going to fight- the toy disputes have already begun- but little moments like this make it all worthwhile. Everyday that Cole can do more and more, I watch their bond grow. Cole definitely knows Cade and gets excited to see him. Cade seems to enjoy a constant playmate. I hope their bond is strong throughout their lives, and they will always be there for each other.
